Nothing. GlassBar has no server, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no user accounts. The developer receives no data about you or your browsing.
All of this is kept in your browser's local extension storage (storage.local). It is never uploaded to us or synced to any server.
When you ask a question, GlassBar sends the current page's title, URL, and visible text, together with your question, directly from your browser to the AI provider you configured (for example Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google), authenticated with your own API key. That request is governed by that provider's privacy policy. GlassBar has no server in the middle — nothing is routed through us.
If you point GlassBar at a local model (Ollama or LM Studio on localhost), nothing leaves your machine at all.
The only third party your data reaches is the AI provider you choose. GlassBar includes no trackers, no ad networks, and never sells or shares data — because it never collects any.
GlassBar is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
